The NEW World of Coca-Cola opened with a “POP” on May 24th as a new and expanded version of the former facility. The new attraction is over twice the size of the current World of Coca-Cola and offers over 1,200 artifacts, most of which have never before been seen by the public. The New World of Coca-Cola is the only place where you can explore the complete story – past, present and future – of the world’s best known brand.
The new building features a spectacular glass tower that guides guests into the lobby. Once guests have entered the facility they will be in awe of the largest collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia ever assembled! You will become immersed in the Coca-Cola experience with collectibles and memorabilia from all over the world displayed from floor to ceiling. On their way to explore the facility guests will enjoy a short film in the “Happiness Factory Theatre”. Here they will get a behind the scenes glimpse of the magic found in Coca-Cola and the source behind the happiness found in every bottle.
Upon exiting the theatre guests are given free-reign of the World of Coca-Cola facility. Guests may visit the Pop Culture Gallery – tracing the rise of Coca-Cola as an icon in popular culture. The gallery focuses one of a kind artwork by such luminaries as Andy Warhol and Norman Rockwell. There is also a place for you to create your very own piece of pop art! The 4-D theatre is sure to bring a smile to your face and Bottle Works will show you the secrets behind the bottling process.
Of course no visit to the World of Coca-Cola is complete without experiencing the ultimate tasting. A hip new tasting lounge has been created in the new facility offering samples of over 70 different “flavors on command” from around the globe.
